Who we are

AIM specialises in Logistics Engineering and Back-of-House consulting, delivering comprehensive solutions to coordinate the flow of goods, waste and materials within complex social infrastructure. We look beyond simple transport, focusing on the strategic integration of support services from dock to department to ensure seamless facility operations.

Our expertise spans the full spectrum of back-of-house support across social infrastructure environments, including the intricate planning of automated systems, specialised distribution networks and secure service flows. By optimising loading dock design, waste management systems, central stores and materials handling systems, we create efficient environments that allow frontline teams to focus on delivering essential services.

Our Approach

Evidence Based Design

We move beyond assumptions. Our solutions are grounded in rigorous data analysis, arrival profiling, and benchmarking against comparable facilities to ensure infrastructure is right-sized from Day One.

Operational Integration

AIM bridges the gap between architectural design and clinical reality. We understand how end-to-end flows, from the loading dock to where services are delivered, impact facility planning and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Led Strategy

We don't just apply template solutions. We facilitate deep engagement with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to co-design workflows that reflect the unique operational culture of your facility.

Future Proofing

We bring a global perspective on technology and innovation. From AGVs to automated distribution/supply storage, we help you navigate the technology landscape to design facilities that are resilient and ready for the future.
